That's just a practical holdover from military duty, used to keep pilots warm at high altitudes!" Well, you're not wrong, but let me tell you, this jacket has got some serious style. Even before Cruise rocked it on the big screen, it was a mainstay in many American men's wardrobes. So, if you wanted to be the coolest kid on the block, it would help you.

Recently, the famous designer Tom Ford held the showcase of his new clothes.
Tom Ford knows how to bring the heat when it comes to fashion and star power. His Spring/Summer 2023 collection was straight fire, and he even brought out the queen of the 80s, Madonna, to show off his new digs!
Madonna preferred denim jeans, both long or short, leopard prints, mesh tops and capris pants.

Next, let's cover rocker Joan Jett from Runaways. She's the queen of 80s rock and roll, and her style is just as badass as her music. She's all about that tough, edgy look, with tons of leather, chains, and studs. She pairs it all with a killer blazer, red jacket, jeans, belt, and boots for a look that's totally her own. And don't even get me started on the safety pins - talk about adding some extra edge to an already rad outfit. If you want to channel your inner rockstar, Joan Jett is the way to go!

Flannels or shirts tied around the waist
Obviously, the 80s and 90s were all about classic trends that never go out of style. One of my favourites? Tying any long-sleeved top around your waist - it's both stylish and practical. Whether you're looking to add a pop of colour to your outfit or just need a quick and easy way to keep your hands free, this simple trick is a must-have for any fashion-savvy individual. Try it out for yourself and see how it transforms your look!
Well, Soul Train. That's the longest-running syndicated show in America and the ultimate destination for Black and Soul artists. Hosted by the visionary Don Cornelius, this show gave countless musicians a platform to share their art with the world. And the fashion? Don't even get me started. Corduroy jackets, high-waisted jeans, platforms, brightly-coloured knitted vests, and arm jewellery - these were the must-haves of the 80s. If you want to rock the Soul Train look, you better add these items to your wardrobe stat!
It's MCM, baby!
Munich in the 70s - the disco capital of the world and a magnet for the global jetset. Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger, David Bowie - they all lived in Munich and they all rocked the hottest fashion trend of the time: MCM. This brand debuted a line of 20 pieces exhibited in a glass tank (that used to hold a live alligator, no less). The line featured a hand-drawn MCM logo with laurel leaves tied with a ribbon at the center - a nod to King Ludwig I and his passion for neoclassicism. This logo became the brand's trademark Visetos motif, which patterns the logo with a diamond shape inspired by the Bavarian flag. From the beginning, the Visetos appeared in black on a cognac base, instantly becoming one of the most recognizable fashion patterns of the time. If you want to channel the 70s-80s jetset vibe, get some MCM and get ready to rock the disco scene! Even hip-hop artists liked its premium look!
